Owner of OKC Sandlot/Oklahoma Post Grad Baseball, Director US Nationals South Plains Region

Lane Decker has 36 years experiience at the MLB level scouting for the Chicago Cubs, Baltimore Orioles, San Diego Padres, and the Boston Red Sox. He has been running OKC Sandlot (since 2008) and US Nationals South Plains. He played collegiately at Murray State College and Southeastern Oklahoma State University where teams he played on were consistenly ranked in the top 10 in the country. Lane has signed numerous Major League players and has helped even more attain an opportunity to play at the collegiate level. He won a World Series ring with the Red Sox in 2018. Lane was inducted into the MLB Midwest Scout Hall of Fame in 2020. He retired from scouting in 2022 and currently serves as the head coach for the OKC Broncos Homeschool program.

US Nationals South Plains Pitching Development Coordinator

Coach Cody Painter is the US Nationals South Plain Pitching Development Coordinator and the current Assosicate Head Coach at Oklahoma Baptist University. Cody attended high school at Oklahoma Christian Academy in Edmond, Okla., and was a Ferguson Jenkins Outstanding Student Athlete Award recipient in 2007 and an All-State selection in 2008.

US Nationals South Plains 18U Coach, Recruiting Coordinator

Coach Jared White is currently the Head Baseball Coach for Bishop McGuinness Catholic High School. Proud father of 2, Kingslee (age 4) and Beckett (age 2). Additionally, he is the current US Nationals South Plains 17U Head Baseball Coach and Recruiting Coordinator. Let’s not forget, his Natty Boyz are the current 2024 Marucci World Series 17U Champions.

Jared’s love of baseball began at an early age and progressed to where he is today. Coaching a game that he loves. His philosophy is the ABCs of baseball: Attitude, Believe and Commitment.

Jared played high school baseball for Wyandotte Public Schools for Coach Troy Gray, (Once a Bear, always a Bear), where he excelled at baseball and basketball. He holds the Oklahoma State High School Strikeout record. Striking out 626 batters faced in a 4 yr. career. He broke this record during his senior year (2007). He was a three-time Lucky 7 Conference MVP, batting .506 with 21 home runs, was 12-2 on the mound with 11 walks with an 0.53 ERA is senior year. He received 2 citations from State Senator Wyrick and State Representative Larry Glenn for his outstanding leadership on and off the field. Was featured in the May 2007, Sports Illustrated Magazine – “Faces in the Crowd”.  Jared decided to further his baseball career signing with NEO A&M College, playing under Coach Roger Ward, where it ultimately ended due to an arm injury. However, he went on to finish his college education at UCO, Edmond, OK where he majored in early education. Graduating from UCO in 2012, where he was employed as Intramural and Recreation Coordinator. He later went on to assist coaching at Redlands College during the 2015-2016 season. Jared began his teaching career at St. John Nepomuk (2018), Yukon, Ok, as a Physical Education/Health teacher while assisting as pitching coach for Bishop McGuinness. Year 2020, Jared became the Head Baseball Coach at Bishop McGuinness. Jared is also members of ACBA and OBCA,

Coach Brandon Zaragoza is our US Nationals South Plains 16U Coach and current at Mustang high school. Brandon played for the University of Oklahoma, earned All-State Large West honors, and named All-Big 12 Freshman Team.

Coach Maddux is the current Hitting/Infield Coach at Oklahoma Baptist University. He is a  former All-Conference Infielder at Pratt CC & Arkansas Tech University. Trace has been with the organization for over three years.

US Nationals South Plains 14U Coach

Coach Alex Brown is our US Nationals South Plains 14U coach, who attended Western Heights high school where he played the longest recorded high school baseball game in Oklahoma history. Alex struck out 9 batters in 14 innings on 157 pitches and went 9/10 at the plate. Alex was a switch hitter and attended Rose State where he pitched and played third base for the Raiders. He owns and operates a sleep diagnostic testing facility as well as a durable medical equipment company specializing in sleep therapy. Alex is married to his middle school and high school sweetheart, Mytzi and they have three children together.

US Nationals South Plains 13U Coach, Certified Sports Performance Coach

After playing baseball at Yukon High School, Dr. Ryan French went to Bakersfield Junior College in California to further is baseball career. While attending Bakersfield JC, Dr. Ryan French sustained an arm injury that required surgery. Shortly after his rehab the injury started to reappear. He was about to give up baseball until one of his teammates suggested that he go see a chiropractor. After his first adjustment Dr. Ryan French was able to throw a baseball like the injury had never been there. This event sparked his interest in Chiropractic and as the story goes, after his stent in California he told the coach his was hanging up the spikes to pursue a Chiropractic degree.

Dr. French has a strong passion for the game of baseball. He teaches not only the physical but mental aspects as well. He is a certified Mental Sports Performance Coach and member of the American Baseball Coaches Association.  Dr. French is the middle baseball coach at Bishop McGuinness Catholic School, as well the head coach for US Nationals South Plains 2028 team.  Dr. French has not only played with many teammates that have made it to the MLB, but he has also had the privilege of being the Chiropractor for many professional athletes. Dr. French has stated that “Baseball has given me the life that I dreamed about”. He is married to Stephanie French, two boys Cooper and Mason, daughter Taylor.
